(RTTNews) - Zelluna ASA (ZLNA), a clinical-stage company developing allogeneic "off-the-shelf" T Cell Receptor-based Natural Killer (TCR-NK) cell therapies for solid cancers, reported second-quarter 2026 results and highlighted progress in its lead program ZIMA-101.
ZIMA-101 is Zelluna's first-in-human study evaluating ZI-MA4-1, a TCR-NK therapy designed to target MAGE-A4, a cancer antigen expressed in multiple solid tumors. The program represents a novel approach that combines the targeting precision of TCRs with the innate killing ability of NK cells, aiming to deliver an off-the shelf immunotherapy option for patients with advanced cancers.
-First patient dosed: On July 13, 2026, the company treated the first patient in the Phase 1 ZIMA-101 study with ZI-MA4-1, the world's first MAGE-A4-targeting TCR-NK therapy.
-Safety review: The Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC) completed its planned review on August 17, confirming ZI-MA4-1 was well tolerated with no dose-limiting toxicities. Recruitment of two additional patients at Dose Level 1 was recommended.
-Clinical sites: The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust was activated as the second site, joining The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in the UK.
-Upcoming Milestone: An abstract on ZIMA-101 has been accepted for poster presentation at the ESMO Congress 2026 in Madrid.
